I think, in all honesty, Arena Net likes it very much when players discuss their game, in whatever form, positive or negative. When no one talks about a game anymore = don't care = game die.

How come players think you play this game on server instead of your own computer which is what you are doing. You aren't on a server all the time only in towns and outposts in explorables you are playing on your own computer or doing missions.

You can disagree wih a Moderator all you want or did you lose you consititional rights yes even on gaming forum you can disgree. It shouldn't get you banned. It will only happen if they are doing thier jop not being part of the community.

Uh if you are in a instance with other players, how can that be done all on your own computer?

Are you serious? A society that does not critique is one that does not grow. It is in our best interest to always question rather than blindly accept. In the context of art, or in this case a game, one points out areas that could be improved, so that they will be improved, so that they might be improved, so that those who created it might consider addressing it on another iteration. No critique implies innate perfection, which is unattainable. You could debate that fact, but I assure you, perfection is at least not reached in a money-driven development cycle. There are things we can all find that could be improved in Guild Wars and its not "QQing" to discuss them. And you know what? The game has problems inherent in the model. Anet themselves recognized some and scrapped Utopia to work on GW2 instead.

I suspect this a QQ thread

Or about others QQing.

Or QQing about all the QQing.

Either way no one cares so lets QQ about that.

Umm... no just incorrect.
A) if you are playing with other players you obviously need to be communicating with them
B) if this wasn't how it worked, then the GW drop system could be hacked ala Diablo 2, and everybody would be able to spawn Crystaline swords to fall from the sky. Severs control drop rates, not your computer, otherwise, you could alter those files in your computer.

And disagreeing with a mod over a factually thing is fine. Arguing with them and calling them names is another (which didn't happen in this case). Oh, and you have no constitutional right of free speech when the organization trying to supress you is a non-state actor (trust me, don't believe me?, take an intro to poly sci class).

I refuse to behave as though Anet is doing me a great favour by allowing me to play their game after having purchased legitimately, copies of their game.

In summation, if you don't have a problem, good for you. Move over for the ones who do.
Who are you to wave your finger, so full of it. Eyeballs deep in muddy waters, f*ckin hypocrite.

I think people complain a lot cause for some that is more rewarding than playing the game.

Constant complaining gives the sensation of development and feeling of purpose.

Some nice quotations I found:

"Those who complain most are most to be complained of". - Matthew Henry

"Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain - and most do." - Dale Carnegie

I thoroughly enjoy playing the game, but the fact is, it's been going down the shitter since factions came out. PvP and PvE are both broken beyond repair, but the game kills time..so..Let's go HA suckas!

People complain on forums because they have an audience. Also, on the internet no one knows you are a moa bird. If it bothers you that the intertubes are clogged with whining, maybe you should gtfo.
